Projects Newsletter – March 2013

In a recent Ray White Projects survey, we were surprised to find that just 11% of Australian adults have an investment property and only 3% own two or more properties. So what of the other 86%; why are we not investing?

We all understand that interest rates and unemployment figures are at some of their lowest levels in living memory. And most economists (and more importantly, most people) think that this will remain the case for some time. However, our survey showed that whilst interest rates were seen as somewhat important, almost a quarter of participants simply wanted greater education about how to invest. This endorses our own philosophy as a group to provide reliable, informed advice to our property investors.

We have recently launched a new property investment education program which is proving very popular. Whether you are looking to buy your first property or expand your portfolio, we are committed to providing you with the backbone for making the right decision. Our 110 years of experience in the property markets gives us a unique perspective from which to assist you build the necessary confidence to invest; a must for any investor.

In last month’s’ newsletter we offered the opportunity to share your thoughts on property investment with the chance to win one-week’s accommodation at Peppers Resort, Whitsundays. Our winner Dean Burnett from Victoria was delighted to have won the chance to spend time at Peppers and will be taking his wife for a well-deserved holiday. Dean commented about his own property buying; “I’m always interested in property where I can see improvements to the local area and where properties present good value; so aside from some time to relax, I’m actually looking forward to spending some time to see what the Whitsundays has to offer”.

We welcome the opportunity to support any property investment wherever that may be.

We hope you enjoy a great Easter with family and friends.
